Malcolm Matravers

Post by Glenys »

It is with great sadness that I have to tell you That Malcom beloved husband of our good friend Jackie passed away yesterday after a terminal illness with great courage and bravely borne .

We finally met Malcolm at Cosy nook when we went to stay it was an absolute pleasure to finally meet this wonderful , kind man with Jackie and their adopted Lab at the time Bob .
Malcolm and Jackie have generously supported rescue for many years and after losing beloved Bob they adopted Sam who has given total and loyal support and will be Jackie’s strength through this Journey she now faces.

I am sure we all send love and prayers to Jackie and Family .

A message for Jackie when she feels up to looking at this website again. Jackie, we were so shocked and saddened to hear of your painful loss. Alison and I remember with great fondness visiting Cosy Nook and yours and Malcolm's kindness in making us feel at home with George and Mildred, our beloved labs, now both also departed. I pray that God will walk with you each step of this journey we call bereavement and that he will hold you close until you see Malcolm again. God bless x

Thank you everyone.

Malcolm’s illness was the reason that I had not visited the site for so long.

Sam is being a great comfort and will no doubt do his best to help me through this dreadful time.
xx
