Little Max - Positive Thoughts Update 10 Oct

Post by LabLover »

Hi Everyone,

Just to let you know we had to call John at N/W Surgeons yesterday as Little Max limping was getting worse not better even with the cream he had precribed. John asked us to take Max to see him this morning so he could examine his feet and agreed the cream had made no improvement and one foot was even worse.

John is baffled and said he feels rather then them keep dabbling, as he put it, we need to get Max referred to a dermatologist, said to stop the cream and prescribed him some painkillers. John said he will email Ruth and get her to arrange a referral to a dermatologist as unfortunately, N/W Surgeons don't have one.

So long as Little Max remains happy and is comfortable we will do whatever it takes to get our brave little soldier right we will never give up on him, he's such a love and so amazing with everything he's been through.

Please continue to keep him in your thoughts and pray that one day he will get the break he so deserves.

Little Max asked me to thank you all and sends you lots of sloppy licks.

Love

Positive thoughts coming your way.

For info when our previous dog was v poorly he developed sores on his feet. The vet prescribed a cream ( can't remember name) but it made no difference. After research on the net I bought Ekoneem ointment for dogs and horses, which cleared them up in no time. May be worth a try.

Poor lad he certainly needs a break he should be running and enjoying himself now. Everyone wants to do the right thing for their dogs but I have to agree with Black Dog and say that sometimes vets get things wrong and it is worth exploring other options. I am a big fan of colloidal silver I even use it myself.

Sending lots of healing thoughts and hugs to you all and special ones for little gorgeous Max.

So very sorry Amanda. If any dog deserves a break, it's Little Max.

It's like painting the Forth Bridge - never done. I will keep everything crossed that this little lad get sorted sooner rather than later, God knows, he deserves it. :love3:
