Please thoughts for Bonnie update 25th Oct now HOME

Post by Liz5353 »

This evening we have left Bonnie at the veterinary hospital in preparation for x rays and depending on what they find possibly a CT scan also.

Things are not sounding good I am devastated, but I am trying to be positive.
It was awful leaving her and her looking at me like she did.
Your positive thoughts would be very much appreciated.

Bonnie is home after x rays and scan, the scan has shown that she has a very enlarged disc that is pushing on her spinal cord and not as first thought a tumour in her leg.
We are waiting for the hospital to ring as she may have surgery tomorrow or Monday the disc needs removing as soon as possible..
So thank you so much for all the positive thoughts and wishes please can you keep them coming, we still have a way to go.

Aw poor Bonnie, been waiting for an update all day, sending more positive thoughts for her operation and a good outcome.

Sounds like it will be a long hall Liz, but at least it's not a tumour.

:bighug: for you all.

At least it is not a tumour which was what was running through my mind, I hope all goes well with her surgery as you say still a long way to go and spinal surgery still not great for her so sending lots of special healing thoughts, hugs and prayers that all goes well. I will be thinking of you.
