Poppy - 4 months on.....

It's just over 4 months since Poppy came to join us. It was only a short time after having to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to wonderful little Pippi when we realised her battle with the nasty C could not continue. Pippi would have been 5 years old next week and I still feel her loss deeply. My heart goes out to everyone on here dealing with heartache.

Our labs fill our hearts with joy too. The first couple of pics show Poppy as she was, in very poor condition and very over weight(only 2 and 1/2)

The following pics show her as she is now. A very beautiful, slim, sweet natured, happy, fit girl who is much loved by Millie and me. A good diet, supplements, plenty of lovely walks have helped her to transform before my eyes! She has lost over 5kg - around 3/4 stone. She is now a cheeky, energetic girl. Not true at the moment as she is recovering from being spayed yesterday. She seems to be doing okay - just very sleepy, bless her, she is such a sweetheart. :love2:

I still have millies and pippis pic on as photobucket and I really don't see eye to eye and I can't seem to resize a pic. I will manage it at some point. :snooze:
Debs, Millie and Poppy (and Pippi).xx

Poppy looks wonderful, Debbie! It must be very rewarding to see her looking so lovely.

I can't get on with Photobucket either  If I manage to post a photo, it's more by luck than anything else.

She is gorgeous Debbie and you have transformed her, what a difference. Pleased she is helping to fill the void that Pippi left, never completely get over losing them of course but having another to concentrate on helps I think.

Thanks for the update and the lovely photos, you have two gorgeous girls.
