Adding photos to postings

Post by LabRes1 »

Hi all

I know for some time photobucket has been causing some frustrations when it comes to you sharing photos of your lovely dogs on the forum -

I have attached some guidance using an alternative system - imgur.com

Its simple to use and works a treat - lets see if we can start getting some lovely photos on the site..

If you open postimages.org you can drag and drop any image you want to use onto the opening page, then click in the "Direct Link" option that is 2nd down on the drop down box that opens when you have dragged your image onto the page. You will see the word "copied" flash up next to where you clicked, at the right hand side.
All you need to do then is, on your post, click the little "insert image" icon (3rd from the right above your typing) and then place your cursor right in the middle of the Image between the central brackets, right click and then paste
When you preview or post your message, the direct link will automatically insert your image.
postimages.org is a FREE site, there is no need to pay anything unless you want to.

I hope this helps.

Thank you for this so much easier than photobucket! Was able to upload a photo after a long absence from the site.
