Bailey

Post by Beanshoot »

We had to say goodnight to Bailey, who we got from Glenys 4 years ago he was such a gentle giant and a wonderful companion. He has gone to meet my other Labs that I got from the rescue Bonnie, Boo, Jess, Claude and big Minnie.

So sorry to read about Bailey. So many of our older labs are leaving us at the moment. It’s a difficult time.

So very sorry that you have said goodnight to your 'gentle giant'.
I know words don't really help at the moment but hope that knowing others here on the forum understand and care brings you a little comfort.
Safe in your heart, sleep tight Bailey,

So sorry to hear that you had to say goodbye to your lovely dog Bailey. I lost my lovely girl, Flo in March, so I understand how devastating it is when we lose our beloved labs. I don’t know the details, but if a dog is suffering, then putting them to sleep is the right thing to do. I’ve only had to have a couple of my labs put to sleep, Harry, aged 10, from Labrador Rescue, who I had for 9 days after his adoption as he had underlying problems nobody could have foreseen; and Miggy, who had been with me for most of his life, and I loved him so much, but I had to have him put to sleep 4 days off his 16th birthday when his legs suddenly went from under him, and he couldn’t walk. So I can empathise with what you are feeling, and offer you all my Sympathy. It does get better, just give it time.
With Love and All my Best Wishes at this sad time.
