Helping Lilly

Gina took an urgent call about young Labrador Lilly was injured and taken to emergency vet she had badly broken her hind leg sadly as all too often there is no insurance in place and the owners could not commit Financially we make no judgements here I have spoken to the distressed owners it was a freak accident and they are heartbroken so Lilly has now been signed over to our rescue and we will commit to get her better.
after surgery she will need much aftercare, after a very fraught twenty four hours for our team countless phone calls and now thanks to John Rothwell our volunteer Lilly was transported safely from emergency care Vets who could keep her sedated and pain free To Ribble Vets Preston on Monday where she had x-rays It was decided the safest and best way ahead was a referral to Rutland House in St Helens on Tuesday ( 23rd august) where surgery will go ahead today and prognosis is good foster in place to and then physio onward and upward for the lovely Lilly

Grateful thanks to All the vets and staff who helped and Donations received not to forget John who has been amazing
