After saying that Bryn didn't seem to like water he proved me wrong yesterday afternoon. We were having our usual walk along the riverbank when Bryn spotted a springer diving in the water for a ball, so in went Bryn after him, swimming well.....perhaps the presence of a lovely lady chocolate lab encouraged him....
A bit further on a happy mixed swimming party took place, now with two more lady labs so Bryn was in and out of the river after his ball but also having a swim round before returning to the bank. At first he seemed not to know about shaking the water off (which should, of course be done near humans) so stood there dripping before the idea came to him. One of the others must have had a word in his ear because on arriving home he wiped his head on Dad's trousers and his body on the dining room wall before I could reach him with towels.................does this sound familiar ?
Dinner went down even faster than usual before a good snooze.................. :snooze:
Andrew and Bryn (thinks- nearly time to go out again Dad !)

I wanted to get a pic of Bryn attacking a pig's ear last week but by the time I'd found the camera and switched it on the pig's ear had been eaten.

OUT AND ABOUT
Bryn is enjoying his walks just as much as ever and still bounces up and down when he sees me getting ready

Over the years this has been a favourite place for all my labs but with Bryn there's no time for hanging about daydreaming, we're out for a walk so that's what we should be doing...........

A pic from the archives showing Jack at the same place, that's not a white halti round his nose but good old DROOL !

Off we go again....keep up, Dad !

That looks a super walk. Jacks's fav spot would be for mine also I'm sure. Nice to see a pic of Jack and Henry. Good to hear of Bryn again, he's a character isn't he!

I've just bought a fridge magnet which seems very appropriate at the moment....."Home is where hair sticks to everything except the dog."
I'm sure there must be one or two other labs like Bryn in that respect.

Last week my son Neil and his family were away on holiday so I was on cat and rabbit feeding duty and as Bryn sees cats as friends he came with me, travelling up on the bus, which Bryn loves, and walking back, about 3 1/2 miles. I thought Bryn's slight touch of arthritis might bother him, but it wasn't his joints creaking but mine..................
