The figure was an estimate based upon what he is being fed and the cost of preparation -

the number of feeds is now starting to reduce and therefore the cost will follow.

the whole point of the updates is to give an idea of the cost, time and work that is put into turning a dog like this around.

taking beautifully positioned photos that hide the reality is all well and good but does not show the reality of the situation and the slow progress that is being made - the reality is that the photos below were taken this evening

Again we have not appealed for help whilst any help is gratefully recieved but in the case of any dog the rescue fund always covers it ....Vet bills food transport etc
Ky has never asked for anything they are really dedicated to helping Norrie,no amount of money could ever pay for that no amount buys dedication, care missed appointments and engagements to accomodate a dog in need ask any fosterer its a vocation we just try to make sure noone is out of pocket. .

We post information on here so our supporters know what we do not for any other reason.
Little Norrie like all our supported dogs its what the rescue is all about

I think they are doing a sterling job on Norrie's journey back to health - he does look even in the other photos as if he is a bit more covered in the ribs - it will take a long long time to build him right up but I am sure the weight gain he has put on now will be more and I know that his tummy cannot be overloaded too much or it will make him ill - little and often which will reduce as he gains weight as he will get more but less often.
I applaud your dedication and effort put into this lad - he is gorgeous and obviously adores Ky.
Keep up the good work. :love3:

Sincere apologies if my two original photographs were misleading. That was not my intention at all, in fact I was trying to post four photos of him but my battery in my iPad died when transferring them to my Photobucket so only two of them downloaded onto this website.

The other two I post below. Norrie is still excrutiatingly thin and weak.

Here he is standing next to Mij for comparison.

And again sitting next to Ky - I think he was looking longingly into her freezer.

So apologies again - I should have posted them all together. :2039:

No apologies necessary! :love3:

Everyone knows little Norrie has a long way to go before he is close to the correct weight. It's great to see any photos of him and you can definitely see an improvement, however small it might be!

Thanks again to everyone involved in looking after this lovely lad. :love5:

Thanks for the photos everyone; you forget just how much it will take to get him back to what he should be - Lynne's first photos capture his essence - the others; just how painfully thin Norrie is (I can see why Ky calls him Thinribs) I do hope he continues to progress and flourish in Ky & Geoff's tender care
