Last I heard he was off his food again Vet had suggested muscle Biopsy I have to say this worried me as he has been through so much already but I am not a Vet ! we feel the swimming has to stop I swim regularly and I feel you have to have a little stamina at the very least to swim even gently maybe thats for the future God willing but for now we have agreed no swimming.
I had suggested Norrie have a second opinion suggested Rutland house or Liverpool but Ky doesnt want him to have to go to another Vet as he trusts hers so as Ky is caring for him then she knows him better than we do so in this matter I have to defer to that and Thank Ky for her dedication to him and I am told her vet is liasing with a specialist.
I hope we have a good outcome to the Norrie story it certainly is an emotional time for everyone .
Meanwhile he is being well cared for and loved which is all we can ask for now.

PS Kys Vet Caerwys (Veterinary surgery) have done wonders for little Norrie so lets hope its good news soon.

I hope Norrie improves, I am wondering if the vet is thinking IBD, Amanda's Max has such similar symptoms to Norrie, eating one minute, not the next. He went to a specialist in Cheshire and was diagnosed with IBD. He won't be cured but the condition is managable with the specialists advice and he has put some weight on too. It's not easy to control but it can be controlled that's the main thing. Just reading about Norrie and his symptoms seemed so similar to Max, obviosuly I could be wrong and it may not be this at all but maybe worth mentioning.

Sending lots of hugs and kisses for this special boy :love4: :love4:

Let's hope this is just a blip. It sounds as though Ky's vet has everything in hand, and Ky is doing wonders with him. Meanwhile, all crossed that Norrie pulls through all this - I'll say a little prayer for him every day. :love2: :love2:

We are also keeping our fingers crossed for this little lad :love2:

Michelle we also think it is worth a mention and have emailed Glenys with an update on Max who was back at the specialist Monday. I agree Norrie's symptoms are so like Max's so many ups and downs and he can also loose so much weight in short space of time which he cant afford too even though we also cook for him but there are 4 levels of IBD and depending on the level depends on the type of medication required. As you said Norrie may have something different but well worth pointing it out as could help him.

Come on Norrie :love2:

Please, please give us news of Norrie. I know that starvation can have a profound affect on muscles and the fact that Norrie's picture has been removed from the site makes me worry even more. I hope for good news but am prepared for bad.

I am sure we would be informed if anything bad had happened.
I think Ian is making changes to the site which is probably why picture is missing as far as I know Norrie still being supported by us etc...

I am worried about this lovely lad as others are, I think no news makes it worse. I know Ky is busy but all of the rescues supporters would love to hear some news on Norrie, we have all held this lad close to our hearts for such a long time, wishing him well and praying forhim, please could Ky let us know how he is doing?

The photo on the home page has only been removed as I it had been there for a long time and I am also redeveloping the site in the background.

We have not been informed of any change in Norrie and as far as we know he is still plodding on.

Must admit, I got worried when Norrie disappeared from the Home Page and have been looking several times a day for news.

Glad to see there's no bad news, and keeping all crossed that he is ok.
