We have used this web site a couple of times now.
www.wildernesscottages.co.uk
They have properties around loch ness and the west coast. It is run by a Scottish couple (Roberts) who advertise for a selection of people and they are extremely helpful. The cottages we have used have always been imaculate and even better than described. Dogs are welcome is some and these obviously are the ones we have used.
Marnie's Croft was and still is our favorite. It is up a hill looking down on the castle remains and Loch Ness. It has a garden and also a huge paddock in front of it that we were free to use and walks straight from the cottage. The description says one dog but a quick chat with the Roberts and they sorted out us taking both ours with us. Tesco also deliver !!!

I have looked at this site a number of times as we like to go up to that part of the world every year. Cottages looks lovely but only allows one dog and we have two Often a problem this unfortunately.

Re: WILDERNESS COTTAGES - SCOTLAND
There are several cottages near us that allow more than one dog. We are between Mallaig and Arisaig on the west coast of Scotland, right next to Camus Darach beach. If you check out road-to-the-isles.org.uk (sorry, don't know how to put the link in), I can highly recommend Rum Cottage on there or Eigg Cottage. The beach is great for dogs and there are no restrictions on it.

Re: WILDERNESS COTTAGES - SCOTLAND
The cottages we have stayed in with Wilderness Cottages that state one dog have allowed us to take 2 when we have asked permission.
It's always worth a try.
Welcome Cottages & Cottages 4 U have also accepted 2 dogs when its stated only one when we have asked the agents to asked if 2 would be allowed.
