As we all have dogs and may want to take them with us... have you any suggestions for holdiay destinations etc that are dog friendly and where you had a great time?

Help. Could anyone recommend a nice hotel/guest house in the wales area - mid or north - that is nice and takes dogs. We are trying to find one for a few days away and although some say they are dog friendly they do not allow dogs in the hotel and you have to take the fire escape to get to the bedroom!!!

Hi Linda,

We have stayed at this hotel several times. They accept dogs by prior arrangement, cost 5 pounds per night and they stay in your room. The hotel is in Snowdonia, with lots of places to visit not far from Blackrock sands where you can take your car on the beach and dogs.

Bryn Eglwys Country Hotel.
Beddgelert.
Gwynedd.
LL55 4NB. 01766 510260. www.bryneglwyshotel.co.uk
