Hi All,Can you believe I've been with Harold & Pat here in Arnside for a whole year, doesn't time fly when you're having fun!
H & P say I've learned lots of new things. Top of my list is how to beg for treats ( I'm irresistible when I give them my chocolate box look, got to watch my weight though.I love swimming, it was easy once they persuaded me to try it. H keeps throwing a ball for me to fetch but I just don't see the point . I've done it a couple of times just to keep him happy. My favourite game is chasing squirrels in the woods. I never catch any and perhaps one of you Labs out there can tell me where they go when they reach a tree, I run round the back of it but they have disappeared and the scent stops at the tree. It's very confusing!
H & P take me to lots of new places . I've been to Anglesey and Scotland staying in hotels where the other guests say how good and beautiful I am, all this praise could go to a girls head .They take me with them when they go to play outdoors with their Brass Band, I've left my hairs all over the players black trousers so now I'm sort of an unofficial mascot. I even went with them on the Remembrance Day Parade, walking alongside the Band with a poppy in my collar, I jumped a bit when they banged the big drum. Christmas was good especially the turkey but I don't think H & P were keen on the smells I made later! Oh1 I almost forgot, a Jack Russell who hates all other dogs has fallen in love with me, I let him make a fuss as his owner gives me treats, the things a girl will do for food!
Well must go now as its almost time for a snack.

PPS. They have bought me a new soft bed as an anniversary present -aren't I lucky
