Lovely to hear how Charlie is getting on. I do hope that his "Dad" is getting on well too.

Hi everyone from Miss Rankin (Aileen) and Room 18, Primary7. We are sitting in the computer suite at the moment in school :study: and having a discussion about Charlie. :2381:
We have decided that each pupil in our class will donate 25 pence per week, which will add up to approximately £30 per month. We would like this money to be used to meet the cost of Charlie's insulin. :1972: :occasion7:
We hope this will be of help to the rescue. We plan to start this week

P.S. The children wanted to try out the blue font colour and the smilies---they are much more technical than I!!!! :1966:

Hello Aileen,

What a wonderful thing the children are doing, I hope that when Charlie finds his forever home his new family send all the children updates.
I had tears in my eyes when I read your post.

Hi Aileen

we are working on some possibilities for Charlies new home - time will tell...

You have some wonderful children there -

I think maybe a certificate from the rescue for all their kindness might be appropriate - something nice for the classroom wall!!

Hopefully Glenys will have received our first cheque for £30 for Charlie's insulin, which I posted off on Sunday. We worked really hard and managed to collect the money in a fortnight so that we could post it off at the end of the month.
The children have now started to bring in their money for February, so hopefully we should have another cheque ready to post off at the end of this month.

Sue, if you have any photos of Charlie could you email them to me please and we shall put them in our "Charlie" wall display in the classroom?

We shall be in the computer suite tomorrow, so we'll log on and see if there is any more news.
Love,
Aileen xx
