Lilly's opp
Sorry to keep everyone waiting, it has been a very long day Lilly didn't go for her opp till 3 oclock and it was much harder than they thought, the pin had gone in further so they had to get it from two angles. We only collected her at 7 30 and she is in lots of pain. Everytime she stops her little weary wail I start to worry, but she does seem settled now. It is more upsetting because she has had such a busy week being rescued and then rehomed She has been such a brave little girl and if love can heal she will be better in no time Thankyou for your thoughts and love we will keep you posted :1944: :1963:

Love Norma Andrew & Lilly xx

When I first read this last night, I didn't answer as it would have been quite an emotional response, I can't tell you how much I wanted to get on the phone to her previous owners and let rip at them :(

Today though, after reading the following quote from you Norma, I've had a change of tact.
She has had such a busy week being rescued and then rehomed She has been such a brave little girl and if love can heal she will be better in no time.
In her old home, she clearly didn't have any love as she wasn't even given any help to heal.

This time last week, we had just set off to go bring Lilly home. I don't think my first sight of the sad little soul I saw will leave me for a while. :( I was so glad that they hadn't sold her before we got there.

Over the last week, through bundles of tlc and attention, not only her name and her old life has been changed, but she's been allowed to be happy again, to be how a dog should be...showered with love and to be allowed to become a proper member of the family. :love2:

Gavin and I will always have a special affection for Lilly, if things had been different, we would have probably kept her. That all said, we can't tell you enough how thankful and pleased we are that your family have given her a wonderful home. It certainly brought a tear to our eyes last night. She so deserves the best and with you she will certainly get it.

Lilly is one tough cookie to even get to this stage, and I'm sure, given time to recover, she will be back to herself and getting up to mischief in no time. :love5:

Take care Lilly, your mummy and daddy will look after you and make you better.

Gentle hugs sweet girlie. Thinking of you all. xx

Pleased to hear that Lilly is back home and getting all the love and attention she deserves - poor mite. I can imagine how stressful the whole thing has been for you and for Lilly but now your new life together starts properly. Hopefully as she is a youngster she will heal quickly and will soon be getting up to all sorts of mischief.

More positive and healing thoughts for Lilly :love5: she's a little treasure.

Thank you for giving Lilly her forever home and letting us all know how she is getting on. I am sure she will recover well and fom now on this is her new life, full of love, care and devotion and most of all happy times which she has never known before.

I am looking forward to more updates and pictures of her as she blossoms in her forever home, her whole wonderful life ahead of her.
