**BELLA AKA - ZEBEDEEEE!!!!!*****

Post by chloe69red »

Hi All,
Just wanted to tell you our story about Bella, the little Lab x Springer Spaniel!!!

Well on Thursday night we saw the update put on the forum about this little girl, being fostered but only short term and needing a forever home. Now with 2 Cross breads already, we both have a very soft spot for these very special dogs and so decided we needed to help.
we have a big house for the 2 of us so why not get "just 1 more!!" :1001:

Next thing i'd filled in the form and e-mailed Carol asking if we could be considered for adoption again :1939: (adopted Misty from rescue 6/12/10)

So at about 3pm yesterday myself and 2 friends drove over to MKF where we met Bella for the first time.

She saw us and hid slightly nervous for a second, then saw we had 2 labs with us and wanted to say hi so had to muster the guts to come out!! Took them onto the enclosed field and let Cracker & Misty off but cudn't let Bella off and so quickly found out just how bad she is on the lead OWWWWWW!!! My shoulder nearly removed from its socket, and she's so tiny!!!!!!! :2019: :2008:

Well neadless to say she came home with us and is currenlty lying on the living room rug FINALLY tired!!!!! Should have been called zebedee, she is proper full of beans!!!!!!!!!

What a beautiful loving girl. She is a lot more spaniel than lab in personality, but we'll forgiver her and love her anyway!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First 24hrs have been hectic, she's had lots of new people to meet, she's been asked very politely to stop dragging us round on the lead!! but thats not working, but we will get this sorted in time. she's had 2 long walks today and even been let off the lead in a secure field where she ran and ran and ran and ...............well r.....an!!!!!!!!!!!!!
then wanted to play ball when she got home!
was as good as gold on recall amazingly.

Basically she's full o beans like an 11 month old should be, loving kind and already got a nik name of Magic (as in magic roundabout!!)
loving her!!

Photos soon

So pleased Bella has found herself a lovely new home :bravo:
And two new friends to play with as well, quite a culture shock when you get a young one isnt it.

I am sure it wont be long before she learns the ropes especially with the others to learn from.
Congratulations to you all, enjoy your new life Bella you are very lucky girl. :1972:

I thought Jackie might be busy and that's why she was'nt in the chat room the other night. One or two of us were aware that she was applying to adopt Bella, and we all had our fingers crossed...........well.........it worked.

Enjoy Jacki and co. She sounds a bundle o fun. :bravo: :bravo: :bravo:
