Little Mac update

Post by Glenys »

T...his was the last puppy to go having a ball in his new home

Lil Mac is very confused. He doesn't know if he's plain old Mac, Mac-no or Mac-get down!! And he thinks sleep is for wimps, he really thought I wanted to play ball outside at 4.45am this morning!! On the plus side we're getting the hang of 'sit', he's a bit hit and miss still, but at least he doesn't look at us like we're mad now when we make the request!

Glenys, Mac is a little star. He's learning fast and in the space of just a few days has gone from being completely overwhelmed by all things 21st century to a happy, comical, cheeky little boy! He's so eager to learn, fabulous off the lead in the field, fetches even better than his big sis Pip and starting to walk to heel off the lead already. And providing we walk down to the bottom of the garden he's starting to wee on command! I'm making him sound like a doggy saint, but believe me, he's got a puppy's delight in being into everything, and ANYTHING is fair game including my prized Ugg slippers (they've been put away and I've resorted to an old pair of croc's!!) and was found this morning having acquired a chocolate eclair toffee from somewhere … stuck on his tooth, wrapper and all! He's currently spark out on his daddy's lap having run his little legs off on the field and looks like butter wouldn't melt. We're starting to realise the more innocent he looks the more outrageous his antics are likely to be … but we wouldn't change him for the world!!!

Huge thanks to Glenys and Sam for allowing us the privelege of having Mac in our lives. I believe Mac was Sam's favourite and I truly understand why and be assured Sam, we're looking after your little mate :love4:

Glenys, he's now discovered the dog that he thinks lives behind the glass front of the wood burner - it's been a noisy half hour whilst he's been warning it off!!! :1001:

Such an adorable and mischievous inquisitive little character. So pleased that his bad start in life is quickly being forgotten and that he is leaning what it means to be loved and "king of his castle"!
