SOMETHING QUITE REMARKABLE - WEDNESDAY BONUS BALL GAME

As it's New Years Eve - the last day of the year, I felt that I would just like to share this with you as I feel that it is quite remarkable.

Over the past 12 months, the Wednesday Bonus Ball game has continued to be a huge success. It has had continued support from players who come what may have supported this great Fundraiser in aid of Rescue.

There have been players who have played right from the very first draw in March 2009 and to date have still not won a penny which I feel truly awful about but unfortunately have no control over

I can now reveal that the amount raised through the Wednesday Bonus Ball this year is a staggering:

£2021.50

so, I would just like to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to all the players both past and present who have joined in and I think that this just goes to show that £1.00 a week can make a HUGE difference.

So, from here, as we go into the New Year I've got fingers crossed that the game can go from strength to strength.

Well done Joanne and Jackie our Bonus ball girls who are fatastic and to those who support it and all our fundraising.
Without our band of loyal friends the rescue wouldnt work.
I have to say that in the many years of rescue work I have never encountered as many real, genuine, lovely people it has taken a huge load of my shoulders this website with all the friends who enjoy this part of rescue and not gorgetting those many 100s that do not participate in the forum but dont miss very much that goes on here and still respond to our needs.
