A dog Called Ben

Today I remembered about one of our rescue dogs a long long time ago I cant remember his name now so I’ll call him Ben he was quite naughty this was also pre internet and mobiles .
So when she phoned with updates I knew it would be long so I would grab a brew sit on the stairs
With my pad and pen to write it all down .
One day she said I came in and the phone was ringing but I couldn’t find it ( bear in mind they were not portable then) she located the wire but no phone he had actually chewed the phone to shreds.
Next time it was the hoover totally destroyed crates weren’t in vogue then so training classes then and at first they were ok
Then she rang me Bens been banned from the classes he’s not to go ever again , why ? I say
because I hooked his lead on a hook on wall and he pulled the wall over ( it was a Temporary partition wall )
After many such disasters too many to list it was suggested she think of ten things good or bad and write them down.
So she did and said there were nine bad things and one good thing
So I said what was the good thing ? She said we love him
