There's a nose in my fridge

There's a nose in my fridge when I open the door
It's there all the time it's so hard to ignore
It's wet and it's pink and sometimes it sniffs
It 'nose' food is in there and devours all the whiffs
As I open the door further I see something more
A pair of brown eyes are behind the fridge door
They glance at me appealingly and seem to say
"Is it brekkie, lunch or dinner that's on it's way"
How do I resist every time I look there
When a nose and big eyes continue to stare
The temptation is great to give in and succumb
To a look that is saying "Just a morsel or crumb"
I know what I must do when I open the door
Close my eyes and get what I have gone for
That nose and those eyes will always appear
They're in my fridge every day of the year
So if, like me, you open your fridge door
A nose and two eyes appear asking for more
Take my advice and give in now and then
It's no use ignoring them over and again
They won't disappear or ever go away
"What's in this fridge?" they'll always say
So enjoy with a smile, a giggle or two
A nose and two eyes in your fridge with you
