Think we all agree this is the best news and all crossed Vet report is good later
From Ky Foster Mum in a million..............
Good morning everyone here is the latest on Little Norrie
We have over the last couple of days noticed a marked improvment in him in that he has more energy and has actually been the one to try to get Wotsee to play rather than the other way around.
We have snow here and he has enjoyed sniffing about in it with the others and even joined Grayse on her mission to dig up a mole, it was quite funny as suddenly the white snow turned black as the mole pushed the soil up and Grayse immediately started to dig and Norrie joined in ( that is what they are doing on the attached photo). They did not get the mole but had fun trying.
He is still a bit wibbly wobbly but that is improving day on day and he has quickly learnt that it is better to stand in one place and let this lot race about and then try to grab them as they pass him.
On sunday when we were outside he must have got "hot aches" in his feet as he kept lifting one paw up and then another and at one point fell over when he tried to lift 2 together.
Norrie follows me everywhere but is very good when I go upstairs he waits at the bottom with his head on one side listening for me to come back down.
One exciting thing is now when he wakes up he stretches, not a lot you may think but an animal stretches when it feels well and so he must have started to feel a litle better in himself.
Now the really, really exciting news, when he arrived just 9 short days ago he weighed 16.5 kilos, a couple of days later I was delighted as he had put on 200 grams and tipped the scales at 16.7 kilos.
Here we are just 9 short days down the line, the weather has meant that I could not get him to be weighed but today I did. I thought if he is 17 anything I will be delighted because at least he is heading the right way.
I put him on the scales and could not believe my eyes, I took him off and reset the scales as I thought they were not reading correctly.
So today on tuesday January 22nd I am pleased to announce that Little Norrie now weighs 18.9 kilos!!! He is certainly heading the right way, mind you we are working hard at building him up.
His results have come in this morning and I await a call with them, to say I feel sick and have butterflies is an understatement and I will let you know as soon as I know anything.
