Hainingrigg Cottage - Dent, Cumbria

Just come back from here. 2 bedroom upside down cottage set in beautiful countryside.

Lots of places to walk to. The village of Dent is just under 3 miles away with 2 dog friendly pubs & a dog friendly café / tea room. There is another pub in the other direction that's nearer but they do not let dogs in. Lots of other walks to access straight from the door and down the lanes.
The house is lovely. Large lounge opening into the conservatory with lovely views. The conservatory goes straight into the garden so if you have a dog that suddenly refuses to go upstairs (mentioning no names - Sam) they can come in that way instead !!!_
Kitchen very well equipped even a slow cooker which came in really handy.
Only point to consider is that there are lots of sheep around and right next to the garden so in some cases only a meter away. The garden is well fenced. We are very lucky that to date we have never had a dog who has been the slightly bit interested in sheep so Sam just ignored them.
Wensleydale cheese factory is also about 10 miles away and well worth queuing to do the tasting
