Miss Ellies first gotcha

Woo hoo. Ellie found me a year ago and what a year it's been. We have a lot of thank yous starting obviously with Aunty Glenys and Uncle Sam. Thank you for being there and giving Ellie a safe haven. Thank you for finding her wonderful foster parents to start her road to recovery. Thank you for supporting her vet fees for her ear troubles. Thank you , thank you, thank you.
Thank you to Aunty Sue and Uncle Neil for taking such great care of her for a few weeks when she was in pain and probably very confused after not being taken out for a couple of years. Thanks for your care and attention and love she badly needed.
Thanks to Abi too for facilitating my adopting her and listening to me bleating on about how I lived near a beach and woods and Wales etc and wanting to give her a near perfect life.
And thank you to LRNW supporters that help pay her fees. We will always be indebted.
Ellie has blossomed. I think I understand her now. She doesn't give me the sideways looks anymore so she has obviously worked me out. We have discovered a new game of squirrel chase in one of the parks by the sea. She ends up very muddy so has a rinse in the sea.
She loves carrots and cucumbers which is good for keeping her weight down. She arrived quite overweight but is now a normal weight with a waist. She adores balls. Have we mentioned this ? No interest in toys..not very lab like but this is what makes her unique.
She loves me i can tell. I get a heroes welcome after being out and tonight for the first time ever she licked my face. I am convinced it was a kiss. I am right aren't I ?
She mended my broken heart after losing Dylan.
So lastly my thanks goes to my gorgeous, funny and very intelligent Miss Ellie.
