Hi Jacks Dad aka Henrys dad :) I am delighted things are working out I look forward to a renewal of my receiving Christmas cards and pics
I am glad Jack has come to such a wonderful home.

To clear this up Jacks Dad had Henry from us, every year I got lovely cards with his picture on I still have them in the old albums (pre internet) I know losing Henry was atrerribly sad thing for Andrew and his Wife.

Thanks everyone....he really has turned out to be a super dog, follows me everywhere (yes, there as well !) Went with two of my sons (3 inc Jack) to Lyme Park this afternoon which we all enjoyed. Jack was very busy trying to sniff everything at once. When on the lead he seems a bit unsocialised with other dogs, however we met a flock of Black Labs whose people were happy for us to let him off the lead and he was the perfect gentleman, especially to the little wiggly puppy !
Thank You to everyone concerned for letting me have such a lovely companion.
Andrew

Since realised that he's NOT unsocialised with other dogs but we think last owners might have run with him so that when he's on the lead everything has to be done as quickly as possible. Off the lead he's really good.....a lurcher challenged him to a race this morning and he really tried his best ! :D

Hi Folks,
Got my paws on the computer while no-one was looking......hope you like the new pictures of me having a good time, as soon as I'm off the lead I like to keep really busy. I like my new home, the Old Man's other dogs must have trained him really well......two good meals and three walks a day plus a really comfy bed (not to mention two big leather armchairs which the folks don't know I've been in ! [OH YES WE DO]) We even met another chocolate labrador on Tuesday who lives quite near, she's only 21 weeks so of course the Old Man got all sloppy with her until I reminded him that he had a very lovable chocolate lab of his own !
Bye for now
(A Very Happy ) Jack
