Bonnie aged 7 months

Post by captain john »

Hi everyone its Bonnie here. :hello2:

Sorry I have not been sending in any updates since the Labrador Rescue day however as mentioned the last time I wrote, I am busy growing up and turning into a beautiful girl who is fast becoming well behaved.

I thoroughly enjoyed meeting some of my brothers, sisters and cousins especially my brother Rolo. :1941: We had a wonderful time fighting and playing together, especially when I was able to get on top and pin him down like I used to do when I was a wee pup. I was also extremely proud of being voted the second best puppy during the rescue day. :1945: My rosette has been put onto the fridge door and as I am a typical Labrador and enjoy being near to the fridge I get to see it quite often.

I have been swimming in rivers (the water in the lakes being full of green and blue algae) and love doing this as it is good exercise, I also enjoy carrying large twigs and given the chance branches. Nothing is too big as you will see in the following photos.

Even though I have stopped turning the rockery into looking like the battle of the Somme, I still enjoy eating plants and have just demolished the plants growing in three large pots, as well as a wicker basket and its contents and the roots and stems belonging to a well established wonderful climbing Clematis plant. What do you expect I am a young Labrador and that is what we do isn’t it! :1966:

My training is coming on leaps and bounds and I now walk beside my owners and seldom pull on the lead (unless I get excited or meet people that I like) I react to most commands and have stopped tipping the water bowl over. However I still like to dip my head in the water and blow bubbles.

Life at the moment is pretty darn good, Sheba and I get along fine, although I still like to tease her and bite her legs and ears, but I think she has finally accepted me into her home. :love6: I am growing stronger each day and it won’t be long before I am the same size as Sheba which will mean that I am then a big girl!

Hope you enjoy the pictures I have sent and I will send a further update when I am little older.

Love to you all
Bonnie :bounce:
