Alfie and Bailey update

Post by Jenny Canham »

Just to let you know that we are doing fine! It's over 3 months now since we moved to new home with Jenny and Robert, our new Mum and Dad. They love us very much and we do get allowed on the settee for cuddles - but not while they're eating! :( !!
I, Alfie, have discovered how comfortable Potter's bed is - it's a chair in Mum's study and I can look out of the window too if I want to; Mum and Dad don't allow us the other vantage point for that which is the bed in the spare room! :dontknow:

Bailey is fine too, he enjoys being where Dad is which is usually inthe study surrounded by books! :study:

When Mum and Dad were away for 3 weeks we were looked after by Auntie Barry and Auntie Josie from Animal Aunts. They slept in the spare room but we still were not allowed on that bed! :dontknow: We behaved ourselves most of the time but Bailey did get up and pinch things at night sometimes - 3 nectarines disappeared - and then the pips eventaually re-appeared which gave it away :2006: , then he managed to open a tin of sardines :2008: - ate the sardines but left the tin in mangled pieces - Auntie Josie was not amused :2012: but fortunately Bailey had left all the tin and was OK. We were going to have the sardines for our breakfast! :2009:
Mum and Dad are back now and we are going to classes - they want us to be even better behaved :dontknow: so we will try! We do like the treats! :thumbright:

Thanks for finding our home! Alfie and Bailey :love4: :love4:

Hope you had a great holiday. I expect your Aunts were sorry to leave after looking after your two for three weeks, you get very fond of them, especially the regulars!(Was an Aunt for three years)

What lovely boys, glad they've settled well.

Great to hear how you have settled in boys :1966:

You are both very handsome, we think Alfie looks very like our Sam (yellow boy) :1945:

Great to hear from you two handsome boys again. :love2: :love2: Glad you were mostly well behaved for your animal aunts, and hope your mum and dad had a good holiday.

Gosh, Bailey, you opened a tin of sardines!!

Yes! He opened it! When Josie was telling us about it we were waiting to hear that 'there was blood all over the place' but there wasn't :dontknow: Don't know how he managed that but all was well thank goodness. After that they didn't leave ANYTHING out on the kitchen tops! :1967:

Great update. I had to smile at Bailey opening a can of sardines. I could do with him round at my house when I'm trying to open one. :dontknow: By the time it is opened, (about 5 mins), the cat is meowing loudly, and Molly is drooling all over the floor.

Bet you are both glad to have your mum and dad back at home. I hope they had a good holiday. :1956:
