Going for gold......

Post by arlyj »

With one thing and another, we haven't been about much recently, so been trying to catch up with the highs and lows.

One of the things that has been taking up my time is dog training and I am happy to share that last Sunday Purdey sat and passed her KC Bronze assessment and today excelled herself by passing her Silver assessment :love4:. I am very, very proud of her, she was a little star both days, especially as today was a longer assessment and required much better concentration. She wasn't fazed by any of it.

It also means that Purdey has achieved in just under 9 months since she came into our lives what it took Buster and I over 3 years to do :2009: . What that says about Buster I will leave to your own imaginations :1968:

I leave you with a photo - not todays, but she is lying just like this just now - and a daunting thought..so now we go for gold...

What a brilliant result in only 9 months. Well done to Purdey but also to you too Arlyn  She looks very relaxed at the prospect of going for gold :1945:

:bounce: :bounce: Well done Purdey and Arlyn :bounce: :bounce:

Arlyn I know how hard it is to get these awards, George got his Gold just a few weeks ago so good luck to both of you.

To anyone thinking about going in for these Awards with their dog do go along to a training class and find one that suits you and your dog. It's not about having a perfect dog or one that never does anything wrong but with the right trainers its such good fun :1952: :hello1: :thumbright: George really enjoys the classes and all the attention he gets.
