milly adopted 18/11/10

Post by gillal1 »

My new mum and dad are sorry its taken them a long time to let you all know how i am getting on in my new home, they said i was such a good girl travelling back in the car because it was such a long way (4 hours).
I have settled in very well and love my new buddy woody who lives 5 mins away with my mums daughter and grandchildren we have some lovely walks together and he comes to stay overnight often,I especially love Freya (grandchild) who is 4 years old because we play chase indoors but I dont know why the grown ups dont like this game. The vet said i needed to loose weight when i visited for those nasty injections,my lovely mum and dad said i could have lots of lovely walks rather than diet and do you know what they were right i have lost nearly 3kg from just doing something i love!!! We had a few hiccups because i did not like my mum and dad leaving me alone even for short periods and ate some of the christmas decorations! But gradually I am getting better and now dont mind if they go shopping without me as when they get back they make such a fuss if I have been good and I get a lovely bone or a treat. Thankyou to Carol and all at the rescue for finding my forever home for me love Milly x (Picture to follow when mum learnt how to do it)
