Charles and Kyle

Post by drof »

For those who may remember Charles and Kyle, formerly Chaz and Kia,thought you might like to know both boys are doing really well. Charles who has been with us 4 years now is 15 next Tuesday,he is such a darling, never been a days trouble. Just after Christmas he started to show his a age a little and I thought maybe we wouldn't have him for too long, so I decided to put him on my rebounder (I rebound everyday) and do a buddy bounce for him. It has made such a difference to him he is back to walking 2 miles a day and playing chase with Kyle and very happy with life. Kyle has been with us 3 years now,he has just had his 5th birthday. Some of you may recall because he had not been socialised very much he was frightened of lots of things other dogs in particular. Well he is now much better with other dogs, providing he meets them slowly he is fine and actually loves them once he realises he isn't going to have to fight! People ask me if he is the same dog that I had the problem with as he is now so much calmer. It was well worth the effort of persevering with him as he is a fabulous little dog, we are so glad to have both our 'boys'. Thank you Labrador Rescue you all do a great job.

Good to read your news of Charles and Kyle. 15 is a good age and how great is it that Kyle has got over some of his nervousness. Just shows what a good home can do.

What a lovely update! :love2:

Charles is doing brilliantly, and it sounds as though his younger brother; Kyle keeps him young and on his toes!

I wish I could have 2 dogs, I'd love a brother or sister for Toby, but just not feasible at the moment.
