Thanks everyone!
Just feel so proud of her, she has come so far in such a short space of time, can't believe how lucky we are having her.
Her coat is fab gill, it's made. Y a company I buy my horse rugs from, as we get up very early to do horses she was getting a bit cold in winter months as she has no fat to keep her warm (and won't get any if I may add!) so I got it, wasnt too expensive and works a treat.

Keep you posted on progress,
Love Emma and Tia xxx

Hi all,

My mum says it's a very special day today, she keeps singing at me and saying happy birthday. Not sure what this is, but I have done lots of nice things. I spent all morning playing at the farm where the big dogs in rugs live, I think they may be horses?? Then I went to the pub and got to play with my friend diesel the big Alsatian, it was his 1st birthday last week. Then I went to the nice shop that they let dogs in and I got to pick a new toy and mum got me some pork roll chews as she knows I love them. I also got a jumbone, I ate it really quickly before the cats came near it.
I really need to go and sleep now, so mum will finish.

Hi Tia's mum here,
I can hardly believe Tia is 1 year old today, St Patricks day baby! I also cannot believe she has been with us for 6 months! It's gone so quick, she is getting on really well, great with the horses, couldn't have found a nicer dog. Thanks MKF , keep up the hard work, nice to hear so many success stories on here,

Love Emma and Tia (the birthday girl)

Mistress Dalton - small world! Ludwig and Co is our name, it's Ruth Simpson (Lambert) from Hartpury! I don't know if you remember Bod and Lud Marti's dogs - well that's the Ludwig on here and Anna, his sister came from MKF. Anna has a huge blog on here and is due to post another update whenever we can get round to it.

Hope all is well with you, Tia looks gorgeous, do you always name your dogs after alcoholic drinks?

Hi all,

Update on Tia Maria...

She has been spayed, that was an experience and a half. I was very prepared (habits of being a vet nurse) and took 3 days off work with her, I know she can be a bit Of a baby, but worse than I expected. Gave up on buster collar after little more than 4 hours sleep, resorted to putting a dressing g on it. She cried every night, she got a minor infection in her stitches, mainly due to her licking it, and after 8 days, took her dressing off and removed her stitches! Silly dog! All is well and it's all fine. Just need to work really hard On her behaviour again as 10 days of minimal short walks we have taken several backward steps! Im sure we will get there.
Tia is going to have some exciting times ahead as she is going to badminton horse trials for 4 days, think she may get her little legs walked off! And it will be a good dose of socialising too, this she really needs, anyone got any great tips to stop her barking and walking on 2 legs around other dogs?? It's just that she is so excited

Well bye for now, will add some post badminton horse trials pictures

Hi Emma and Tia

We will be at Badminton too, on Sunday for the cross-country. If you see a very, very chunky handsome black lab hauling round a small women with a red face.... that will be me and the lovely George. I realise it seems unlikely we'll meet another site addict amongst 80,000 other people, but if Tia happens to be wearing her Lambourn rug she'll stand out. Plus, Tia looks so adorable, George will almost certainly find her; he loves the ladies! :love2:

Have a fun day out!

Karen & George
