Newton and Bailey

Post by Glenys »

I was please to receive this lovely update on Newton and Bailey and to know they live a very useful and happy life ..........

Dear Glenys.

My name is Roy I'm the dog handler who recieved Newton 6 ish years ago , I'm mailing to give you an update as recently I have also taken on Bailey who came from your rescue. Newton has just passed another licence so will continue to work as a duelled drug dog over at HM Prison in Yorkshire , he has matured into an excellent worker and has been a wonderful companion for the last six years and you will be glad to know that in retirement he will remain with me as a pet , my wife says I'll be gone before him , Bailey is currently under training to become my passive drug dog and take the stress off Newtons workload , he is still a bit of a headless chicken but has made a friend of Newton and I've no doubt will make an excellent search dog I've attached a photo of them in the garden last weekend I hope you like it

Sounds like these two lovely labs lead a wonderful active fulfilling life.
How wonderful that you have rescued both of them and given them such opportunities.
