First update on Lacey (now Macey).
We were lucky enough to adopt Lacey, now Macey on the 18 November, and thought it was about time we let you know how she is settling in.
Initially she liked to bark at everyone who was passing whilst out for a walk, but is a lot, lot better now. She's still a little nervous when someone approaches her, but if she goes to them she is really friendly.
She is a very playful, loving dog who just wants to share her toys, and loves her food like any other Lab.
We thought we'd had very little damage at home, until..... New Year's Eve, when she was left for an hour and a half from 5pm, when she thought it would be great fun to drag the little artificial Christmas tree down and shred it, and its decorations!! It looked like it had been run over by a lawnmower!
It would have made a great picture for Glenys, but we forget to take a picture, we were too busy trying to clear up. We still can't find the Angels arm!
Hopefully I have done the pictures correctly for you to see, the last photo of her with a red nose was a ball on Christmas Day, that she got in a stocking that lasted about 10 mins, but she had lots of fun parading around with what was left.
But all in all, we are really pleased that she has settled in well, and we are really glad that we have got her.
Hope you enjoy the pics.

Wow that 1st picture is wonderful, like butter would not melt in her mouth! The rest you can see just the smalllest bit of mischeif in her .
When we first got Mazy she barked for ages at nothing, evan if we were in the room with her. We would tell her to be quiet and it only lasted afew days. She does do it now and again but never when were in the room with her now. Good luck and i am sure you will soon help her though it.

What a gorgeous girl. Love the last pic with the red ball/nose. I'm afraid we had to giggle at the tree story.

Totally agree with Hilary, what a gorgeous smiley face and sparkly eyes she looks like she will be such a character and a pleasure to own. She wouldn't be a lab if she didn't have her moments, it makes life fun, I had to laugh about the Christmas tree.
My first lab used to drag any house plants he could reach round until the plant pot fell off and then shred the pot and the plant's roots Only did it when he was young but it does make us smile when we think about him and that was nearly 30 years ago
