Thank you and Happy New year

Post by Glenys »

We hope everyone had a happy Christmas Day we have just two young dogs in rescue at the moment they have got their Christmas boxes thank you to the senders its appreciated .

Thank you also for the lovely cards and donations this year that help us to keep providing help for the dogs
The two Busters, Miss Ellie, Fergus, Samson and others who are supported by rescue for their veterinary fees sadly some of the other dogs passed away this year Including lovely Pippi who fought so hard to stay sadly it wasn't to be in-spite of the best efforts of her Doting Mum Debbie and the caring Vets .

We were also sad to hear of other losses I won’t name them all for fear of missing anyone as they were all special and loved.

Lots of lovely cards arrived often bearing lovely photos of the dogs and kind donations too this is definitely my favourite time. :study:
It never ceases to amaze me how many very strong friendships are made by and for the love of dogs and how many who may have adopted many years ago still keep in touch at Christmas time too.

Wishing you all a happy and healthy new year

We had a lovely Christmas, thank you. Poppy was so happy, lovely to see her enjoying herself. Like many others who have lost their beloved dogs, I miss lovely Pippi so much but the 2 years (almost) we had together were priceless and I'm so grateful to you, Gina and all at LRNW for all you do. Much love from Debbie, Millie, Poppy and Pippi from rainbow bridge. ♡♡

We had a good xmas although Jess is still not well everyone came to us as Malcolm and Elsie needed the stair lift but for the first time we shared the exspenses and the work my daughter and eldest grandson moved a table and chair from my sisters and my furniture round

Nicola left her 2 dogs at home as we live in the same town but stuart brought Tim with them and he was well behaved and didnt bother jess
i thought jess was getting better as her bowels are better now and we hadnt seen any blood for a few days but she isnt well again today we are to take another sample for testing after the new year it was supposed to confirm she was on the mend but i just dont feel the faith
Really hoping that 2017 will be better than 2016
I read somewhere that Glenys and Sam had a bad time with one of their dogs i hope things are better now

Wishing everyone the very best for 2017 and beyond

anne jess and( bracken with us for 4 special years until summer 2016)

I thought I would share these with you as over the Christmas season from about November we have had the most lovely updates and cards and photos its really lovely to hear about the dogs and some rather sad ones too quite a lot of doggy bereavements as well.

We like to know that peoples lives are enriched by the dogs that have for many reasons had to be given up to our care and in turned brightened up another family in many ways.

Thank you again everyone xx

Dear Glenys
Life is as busy as ever I just wanted to send something to thank you all for our beloved Beebo he is a labradoodle we got from you some years ago and Bailey before him we simply adore him we can’t thank you and your team enough for all your work..

I got my lovely Billy (who is sitting at my feet at the moment making sure I don’t escape) from you almost 7 years ago march 2010 he has been absolutely wonderful particularly the last two years since my husband died he has been my best friend.
I’ve had either golden retrievers and Labradors but this dog has been something special I think we have been good together Keep up the good work all the best for 2017
