New start new name! Some people say that your dog responds more to the way that you call him/her rather than what you call. Algy responded straight away to his new name so I would tend to agree. Our dogs names run along the same theme; our first was Biggles, we now have Algy and maybe some day we will have Ginger (thanks to W E Johns) although we will need to find a ginger coloured lab as I woudn't have any other dog.

Lovely photos of a happy dog and a very happy family, hope you have a wonderful Christmas all together.

My niece's rescued lab, Pippin, is such a deep golden colour that she does look "gingery", I'm sure you will find one when you want one.

That's one big tree your family's leaning on!!

Top marks for spotting that Joan! Its actually the tallest tree in England! Its a douglas fir and when measured in 1990 it was 57 metres high. Its on some Crown Estate land near Dunster in Somerset.
