Simba (November 2008)

Post by alana057 »

Hello Everyone,

Can you remember Simba or 'Little Simba' as he was known as on the website? Well I thought I would let you all know how the little chap is getting along. He has lived with us for nearly a month now.

He has settled in really well and quicker than we thought. We had a few teething problems in the beginning as one day we were out shopping for an hour and came back to a hole that Steve McQueen would have been proud of!!! The utility wall was through to the breezeblock! There was no mess to clean up as he had eaten all the plaster but we were left gobsmacked with the size of the hole!! Consequently he now sleeps in a cage and put in there when we need to go out. He actually likes it which has put our minds at rest.

Simba has fitted in with ease into his new routine. He loves going for his long walks and getting muddy!! All the family love him and he is so good natured, gentle and loving. Simba is a quick learner and we have been quite impressed with the way he has adjusted and picked things up. Last week he learned that he can in fact climb stairs and now everytime I visit the toilet I have company!!

I wouldnt swap him for the world and we are so glad we travelled over in the snow that day to Eccleston to get him. Well worth it!!!

May we wish Glenys, Kathryn and all the team a Merry Christmas.

Lots of love Alana, Gary and of course SIMBA xxx
