Thought I would start a thread where people can share details of pubs where you can enjoy a good meal and your dog is welcome! Preferably at the end of a lovely walk too!
Here are a couple of suggestions
The Pheasant- Buwardsley nr Tarporley Cheshire. Good food, great beer, quite expensive though. But very welcoming of dogs and walkers and situated in fabulous walking country, sandstone trail etc, beautiful views too, lovely spot.
The Sole Bay Inn, Southwold Suffolk. Fantastic fish and chips, fab Adnams ales and dogs most welcome. Nice walks on the beach. A beautiful part of the country for a holiday (but I am biased as I am from Suffolk
