He has settled in very well. He is a very cuddly and licky dog, and loves sitting on the sofa getting cuddles. He gets on fantastically with Sammy now, and they will play fight or go "mad dog" out on walks, and they lie on the same bed at night in front of the fire
I think she has realised that he is here to stay!His recall is pretty good considering he is a young dog, and if he thinks we have treats, even better!
He is slowly getting used to the dogs that we have coming and going every week, and he has made lots of new friends. I don't think he can believe his luck as he gets so excited when they arrive.
As he is a very active lad, poor Sam now has to have 3 walks a day, just so that we can tire him out. But he is like a duracell bunny and always has plenty of energy. He's not jumped in any water yet, so I imagine that he will be learning that trick from Sam at some stage
He is such a star, and I wish we had got a 2nd dog sooner, when Sam was 4 or 5. She still doesn't properly act like a 7yo, so hopefully Diesel will keep her young.
I am very glad that we found Diesel and I think he loves it here too!
I will take some pictures this afternoon when we are out on our walk
