Great pictures of both dogs. Love his bed do you think he will chew it, or is he one of those rare lab pups who doesn't chew :1967:
He does look as if he's settled straight in and got his paws under the table :1945:

Wow I hope that continues. We adopted George aged 10 months in May and he doesn't chew anything when we are at home but does sometimes chew his bed if we go out or, we think, early in the moring, before we get up. I've also got all my utility room cupboards protected as I'd rather be safe than sorry :1970:

I don't know I was trying to be supportive and positive :1968: :1968: My pups have even chewed the plaster off the walls hence my puppy wire panels which now line my utility room. They are a pain as I have to move them round all the time but George is so scared if he does chew (think he'd been smacked before we got him) it's not worth the risk, he will grow out of it (positive, supportive thinking again this time to myself :1962: )

Archie here!
Am loving it here in my new home in Nottingham with big sister Lexi.
Mum left us alone for the first time today while she nipped Rebecca to the train station. She was only gone 20 minutes, but it was just enough time for me to get the coals out of the gas fire and have a game with them on the nice, cream coloured lounge carpet!
Mum didn't seem too impressed when she got back! She then switched on that loud thing that I don't like very much (think its called a hoover) and most of the mess came up though.....
We have just been out for a walk and met Rufus, Kia, Freddy and Hollie. They all look the same as me..black labbies and then theres my Lexi who is yellow. We had a brill time chasing round and splashing in the water.
Have come home now and should be having a sleep, but I have just found a coaster to chew on - much nice than my bone! Got to keep Mum on her toes haven't I??!!!!
Will have a sleep later.......xxxxxx

OMG the fun has started then? O'h dear what a little monkey! My mum's dogs used to eat coal, have no idea why.

Hope you managed to hoover the black out of the carpet. I hope he doesn't make a habit of it. Must be like having a toddler in the house again only this time with sharp destructive teeth.

Good luck

Oh dear. Archie, you've blotted your copy book now :2009: these humans just don't understand we labs need to chew don't we :1944: I only chew a bit when mum and dad leave me alone and they leave me in the utility room so I just chew my bed or my towels, but mum does say that I really shouldn't do it at all. I've got loads of toys to chew but they don't taste as nice as my bed.

Another good trick is digging a hole in the green stuff they call "the lawn" now that definitely gets their attention and is such good fun. I've stopped that at the moment as they have put a big plant pot over the hole and I don't think I should start another one.

If I think of any other good ideas you could try on your humans I'll post them on here but don't be too naughty as it sounds as if you've fallen on your paws at your new home. :s10:

Well, Archie has been with us for 6 whole weeks now. We went down to South Wales for New Year and he had a fabulous time on the beaches. As you can see, weather was mixed, but it didn't stop us having fun!
