Gerrard

Post by carolb »

Received a lovely update from Gerrards new family so I thought I would share it with you all.
Here what it said-
Dear Carol
We wanted to drop you a note to say how very much we love Gerrard and ask you to let his previous owners know that he is getting on well and has settled in well in his new home.
He and Jasper are now best of friends and happily shared their Christmas toys. They chase each other round the fields for ages, although Jasper isn’t as keen on the ditches as Gerrard is. They must be very cold at this time of the year.
We went for our first canal walk yesterday, about 4 miles, and it was very wet muddy and slippery underfoot. The canal was frozen over, which is the first time I’ve ever seen that. The dogs didn’t care though and thoroughly enjoyed it. The horse is still a strange phenomenon for Gerrard who thinks he is a very large dog.
I’ve included some photographs which show Gerrard and Jasper in the field on Christmas and Boxing Day.
Thank you very much for allowing us to re-home him. He is already a very much loved family member
Best wishes to you and everyone at the Rescue Centre. What you do is wonderful.

What fantastic pictures of two great friends. It warms the cockles of your heart doesn't it!

Does he play football as good as his namesake?

Thanks for the update. :s6:
