WOW !!!! I've never seen a rawhide bone that big before ! I think that Alfie might be quite occupied tonight.

I'm so pleased that everything went well today and that he is back home with you now Bev.

Love

Looking at the first photo of Alfie, I was going to say, someone must have had the gravy bones handy to get such an attentive photo. The second photo says it all. :1967:

Big healing hugs to Alfie.

Alfie looks very happy. I was going to say that he would soon be back to normal but it looks as though he is already!

We all know what damage a labrador tail can do!!! :(

However, one labrador with a lampshade and a 2 foot long chew stick can reek havoc :1968: :1968: :1968: :1968:

Went back to the vets yesterday and they are happy with the way his tail is healing. The dressing now has to stay off so if we cannot keep a close eye on him he has to wear the lampshade. :love5:

Thanks again for all your kind thoughts.

Bev and Alfie xx

Oh, bless him. It won't be long now till he gets back to his normal self. I onley wished we all healed as quickly as our dogs. Next time I'm ill, I'm going to the vets. Same day service and done with a smile and a treat! :1967:

Poor Alfie :2006: even that enormous chew doesn't seem to cheer him up.

Hope he is a little happier today, bless.
