Alfie has had his stiches out this evening :1963: His tail is healing beautifully but we have to try and keep him out of water and muddy puddles!!!! (easier said than done, as all you labrador owners will know)

Taking him up to the Yorkshire Dales to celebrate in a couple of weeks, he really deserves it after all he has been through since we adopted him. :love5:

Glad everything is healing well and the stitches are out. Good luck keeping him out of the water, Millie is turning out to be a real water babe. She had a bath on Sunday smelt wonderful and found a mucky pit to throw herself in today :2008:

Wasn't impressed with the bucket and sponge though when we got home! :1966:

Glad to see Alfie is on the mend. He is such a handsome boy, love those last 2 photos. None of them like wearing the lampshade so bet he's glad that's all over. My choccie girl Fudge is wearing her lampshade at the moment (she has just been spayed) and she is none too impressed with it but being very good all the same.
Hope all is well now with the tail and enjoy your break in Yorkshire Dales - I'm sure Alfie will!!
