Ian

Post by karen13 »

Hi to all,

I'm new to posting but have been watching the site and everybody's posts for some time. We've been looking for a lab to keep our old boy company and for the rest of the family to love and enjoy. initially we were looking for a lady but this proved impossible. Maybe fate stepped in because last week up popped Ian - yes Ian ! - and we adopted him on Thursday. He's an absolute delight and gets on well with Michael (another silly name so they go together !) and our two cats.

Ian is a big boy and is now on a diet. He weighed in at 49 kilos on Saturday but the vet reckons we may be able to get him down to 40 kilos by August. Fingers crossed as I know he will enjoy losing the weight as he loves chasing his ball and going for walks. For now the walks are nothing strenuous as we don't want to damage his heart or legs but he's so excited every time he goes out that there's almost a queue of people wanting to take him.

My husband is hoping that I'll stop at Ian but who knows !
