Ian a couple of months later

Hi everybody,

Thought I'd give an update before the show next week. We're really looking forward to it and Ian is desparate to go in the Golden Oldies !

He's been dieting hard ( or as hard as a labrador can !) and he's lost 3 kilos although he's having a weigh in this week and we're hoping that all his hard work might show a bit more reward. His walks have been extended and he's swimming once in a week in the sea or in the Mere at Tatton park. Monday is his rest day ! He has his walk in the morning and then goes back to bed until somebody physically drags him out of the bedroom some time in the afternoon.

My vet managed to get in touch with his previous mum when looking for his microchip details and we've had some good chats. She's sent me some fantastic photos of Ian in his working days as a sniffer at the airports. She said he'd had some good finds and put some naughty people in prison. Ian's not so sure he likes me talking to his old mum as she gives away his secrets ! It has been good to speak to her and it's put her mind at rest as it's very obvious that she cares for him deeply.

Sorry there's no photos but i can't seem to get the photo web site to accept me so that i can upload to you. It's a shame because I've got some beauties.
