The big fella is doing good. He had an operation to remove all the cysts from his belly which has been a great success. Now he is enjoying life to the full. Footy on the beach, river swimming and hunting for stones, even been on a couple of Land Rover safari's with his mates Rocky, Charlie and George.
He's not so good in the hot heat prefers to snuggle down in the shade on some of the garden's cool vegetation.
Still can't quite get him under the 40kg mark on the scales thouigh. Nearly gets there then staerts creeping back up, currently on 43.5kg and short rations AND he is still a total nightmare round sheep so much so that some areas of the countryside are now out of bounds - nearly pulled my shoulder out of its socket in Bowland a couple of weeks ago...bad dog!!!!

You are lovely Frank despite your weight. I just like to think you are cuddly. :love5:

My girl weighs in at 43kg and she is still slimline! She is tall though, she's got stilts for legs. :1967:

Smashing pics......glad to see you have proper Lab transport. When I had my last lab, Henry, he tended to think my Skoda as rather inferior. Good luck with Frank's weight problem......at one point Henry was 53 kilos, but we managed to get it down by 10 kilos.......cutting down the treats and feeding Wafcol Rite-Weight.

Frank is enjoying a dip in the cool waters of Anchorsholme beach (easy access and free parking) between Blackpool and Fleetwood. Not sure bout Cleveleys' beach a little to the north but Blackpool's is no dogs between North and South Pier during the season; not that that stops loads of the "you can't tell me what to do" s

Hope this helps
