Hi Sally welcome to the site, and thank you so much for giving Olly a chance. I'm sure he won't dissappoint you. Looking forward to seeing some pictures :thumbright:

Hi, great to hear from you all and thank you for your words of encouragement and interest. There is obviously some trick to sending photos so could some one let me know what to do and could you give the instructions as though you were talking to someone from another planet!

We will be visiting a village called Aharacle (please excuse the spelling it's spelt as it sounds and the first A and H merge into each other), it's about 4 miles from Singing Sands beach and definitely close to Mallaig. Olly and I have to work out some manners before we start visiting but he's bright and willing so I hope we'll be on the beach in the autumn.

If I get the instructions I can put the pictures on over the weekend.

Cheers everyone,
Olly and Sally

PS also how do you put the great picture next to the log in name and can I change mine so to make it less formal.

I don't know if I've done the right thing here but perhaps you could let me know if they come out ok. A visit to my 13 year old neighbour down the lane set me on my way!

Olly had his first run off the lead yesterday and came back to his new name quite well, this morning he was a little more interested in the jogger on the road. Please note the brand new bed in the photos, not for Olly he likes the plastic one I got from Kathryn and an old blanket that belonged to my other dogs.

Ky he must have had a fabulous time with you because he's so settled in the house and thank you because he's amazing to be with. Lead training has never been my speciality so this will take a while for me to get right Olly has picked up what's needed very quickly but at the moment I'm not being clear enough to make walking the most comfortable of past times but we'll get there.

I can't imagine how anyone could give up on such a fabulous dog, he's big and strong but very bright, willing to please and independent so he's interesting and no lap dog!

I could rave for hours so I'll leave you all in peace. I hope the photos work.

Cheers Sally and Olly

Hi Sally

Lovely photos - he looks just like my Jasper!

Your going to Acharacle (very throaty pronounciation of the Ach!) - the first time I went there I said I was going to Acklerackle! It's about 20 miles from where we are so if you find yourself this way - let me know - I will pm you our home number. We LOVe :love5: :love5: visiting labs - as Tasha, Poppy, Barney and Roy will tell you - you can never have too many labs on a beach!

Hope to see you soon and look forward to lots more photos. :hello1: :hello1:

Julie, Nina, Japer & Dylan

PS There's a fantastic bakery in Acharacle - delicious pies!

Hi Sally, thanks for the piccys. He is a fabulous lad. I'm only glad you managed to get his best side eventually as opposed to his backside. :1956:

I thought I'd sent them with the captions which actually explained the picture of Olly's rear end!!!
He has found my previous boys toys and was trying to get one of them back from under the gate. (and it was also illustrating my handy work with the trellace.)

Oh you are so right about their ears.
