People sometimes say to me things like "oh you soon rehome them or have a quick turnover of dogs"
I want to put this as clearly and politely as possible .
The rehomers Kathryn, Carol and Myself work really hard and this is not fishing for compliments by the way.
Our phones can ring at any time people are no respecters of time even though we have phone guidelines often especailly with the pups and youngsters people dont care when they phone.
In spite of me always putting
YOU MUST BE APPROVED AND ON OUR LIST TO APPLY FOR THIS DOG on the dogs for homing people still ring saying I have just filled a form in
No dog leaves these premises unless we have made our checks on the new home but a lot of this is done before hand so once checked out people are usually checking every day on the new dogs also when we know we have A special paragon of virtue etc.. we will go through the list so a dog may appear then show as pending because after I list the dogs Carol or Kathryn will ring and say I have someone for the dog.
So not an easy task at all and we do get abuse too from some damn rude people.
Many people have helped me with homing over almost twenty years few have stayed the course could not do with the stress and hassle, I can congratuate therefore Kathryn who has stayed the course NINE YEARS and now Carol two special ladies.
And also mention our new recruit Gina who is taking calls for us and is a fosterer.
So yes we do well some dogs go out very fast I have hardly time to type out the adoption forms but some do not but however long it takes then so be it.
Our little Lab cross at the moment is in vets tomorrow for tests.So anothe Vet run for someone maybe Sam or me or who ever is free.
We have another list of lovely people willing to transport ,foster etc.. too long to mention individually .
The rescue works as a team and the The man always striving getting the word accross and funds coming in is Ian our webby with this wonderful website.
