Thanks for your lovely replies, I must try and get some pics when he's been excavating in the mud and got most of it on his face and paws......favourite pastimes for Jack are STONES,exploring, digging and hunting spiders.

p.s. Jack has found a nice lady friend...Candy a 9 yr old golden lab who also likes exploring and getting muddy.

Aww lovely photo's Andrew, Jack is just gorgeous :) Chocolates will always be my favourite as Maggie my current choccy girl was responsible for my love of Labs so she will always be a special to me. I loved his 'I've been good today' sticker on his bed

Honestly, he does bark at the postman and our next door neighbours (He seems to think they should come home at a more respectable hour !)

I hadn't realised it had been so long since I'd been here.....my only excuse is that Jack has had me under intensive training and we're now seeing the REAL Jack emerging, not that he's naughty, just very clever, very alert and very very lovable. This pic was taken on Christmas Day after he'd opened his presents. Back soon, Andrew
