Well done. When we fostered Bonnie a few years ago Fudge would not let her have any toys - he managed to get four soft toys in his mouth! After a couple of days Bonnie responded by carrying my daughter's very expensive shoe around with her or a cushion from the sofa!

I would really like this topic in everyone's mind. She really does deserve a forever home.
She has been with now for a number of days and her little personality is now starting to show. She is a truly sweet little thing. She just comes across as a dog that just wants to be loved. She follows me wherever I go she is currently curled up under my desk in the office fast asleep. As soon as you sit down she's up and trying to sit on your knee. This little girl craves company so much it does bring a lump to your throat. She is extremely alert ears pricked at the slightest sound she now ever recongnises the sound of Neils van backing into the drive after just 3 days.
And rushes over to the window with her paws up on the windowsill. Neil says she reminds him of a meerkat. So has taken to singing "compare the meerkat dot com" which gets him a smack off me.
She is a little bit underconfident, we have noticed that she's doesn't like coming or going in or out of rooms, always hesitates. and will only enter or leave if you do. She is okay at running up the stairs but struggles to come back down. She followed me up the stairs this morning and came face to face with Kittycat. Don't know who was more shocked Anna or Kitty.
Kitty as usual hissed and growled and Anna just backed off but it took me a good ten minutes to coax her down the stairs. Even though Kitty had been let into the bedroom.
So lets all keep bumping her up. xxx

Well just a quick update on Anna.
I think her face is improving since she came, but as I see her everyday its hard to tell, Im hoping after her visit to the vets on Friday we will know some more. Im also hoping that Glenys or Kathryn will notice some improvement as they will have not seen her for about a week.
We are trying some training (believe me I no Ceasar!!!!) but we are having a go. At the moment she does need a bit of training but nothing that I'm sure cant be fixed in time. I will list some of her bad habits and hope John can give me some tips on how best to break them. I'm sure also this would help with anyone who is interested in offering Anna a forever home. Okay here goes.
Jumping up (on greeting people)
Pulling on Lead (pulling ahead, wandering left to right in front of you, straining when meeting people/dogs)
No recall
Jumping Up (also know as "counter surfing")
She knows the command "sit" but it does take a few goes before she will actually do it.
This morning I decided to take her out onto the field at the back of my house as it is queit and no distractions and we just kept wandering round. She does wear a harness at the moment due to her neck being red so no collar.
Even though she has some bad habits she is extremely loving.
