Missy now Misty
Just had to share this update on a certain little girl who has well and truly fallen on her feet. She was such a shy little girl when she arrived at MKF. She did of course come round after a few days of special treatment by both Sams. Anyway this is how she is doing in her new forever home-
Hi Carol,
just a quick update on Missy for you.
firstly we've changed her name very slightly to Misty! She seems to be quite happy with that!!
Well we have both fallen for her big time! What a gorgeous dog. She's very exhausted after a hectic first 31hrs!! We took her straight out for a long walk when we got home. we were a bit brave (or daft) and let her off the lead after just 20mins! I was confident she'd follow Cracker if nothing else! Well, talk about angel, she came back when called straight away. stood still while we brushed them both before bombing around after the tennis ball! She doesn't lke to let it go but we're working on that! Misty and Cracker played together nicely.
Unfortunately on getting home Cracker had split one of her claws and there was quite a bit of blood so it was straight to the vets! Took Misty to and the vet gave her an MOT which she past with flying colours, except to say she needed to lose some weight! We're working on that straight away!
She had her first jab and wormimg tabs and is booked in for her second after Christmas. No date for Spaying yet as the vet thought it would be best to let her settle in first. Thatl be sorted next time we go.
She totally collapsed into her bed last night exhausted!.
Another long walk today, good brush and a bath and blow wave and she's looking like a different dog! I don't think she knows whats hit her but we are very pleased that she seems happy and is settling in very well.
She's a good girl with a quirkey personality that we can tell will come out more as her confidence grows. we will send you some photos soon.
Thanks very much for introducing her to us and letting her become one of the family.

Love the new name Misty. I had a siamese cat called Misty, and she lived until she was 15yrs old. Let's hope it an omen for the 'new' Misty. Looking forward to some piccys.
