Paris now Cerys and has regained her figure!

Post by bess1956 »

Hi all at Lab Rescue,
My name is Brian Ward.We adopted Paris, a chunky light brown Lab.She has settled into our family really well. She is always happy and greets any visitors with a really warm welcome. We have renamed her Cerys, which she responds to really well. She is my constant companion during the day,she follows me everywhere, and is delightful company. My grown up sons love her to bits,as does my wife. She is great about the house and garden but hard work on a lead so we are successfully using a halter. She really struggles to get to other dogs which can be a problem along busy roads which we tend to avoid at present. She loves socialising with other dogs in the local park where she loves a dip in the pond. She has never shown any signs of aggression, and gets on really well with my sons dog which is of a similar age.
They spend ages playing tug of war! Cerys still acts like a pup, she lept on my knee last night and is generally wonderfully affectionate and loves a cuddle. She sleeps well, but comes to look for us when she is ready to get up.She has enjoyed her first holiday in Yorks. She is now nicely in trim which has been easy since she is not greedy, in fact needs encouraging to eat.Cerys is a joy to own and she is simply full of fun and a fine advert for the breed being fine looking and having a wonderful temprement. Most important of all she behaves impeccably in pubs after a walk!
Regards Brian

Lovely to read that Cerys has settled so well and is your constant companion. But what a little minx........ Fancy being such hard work on the lead that she leads you astray into the local hostelry at the end of a walk ! !

Welcome Brian a lovely update on Cerys so glad to read she is happy with you.I reluctantly have to use a halti on Millie she pulls like a train & is so strong. She doesn't really like it but has got used to it.

Look forward to seeing some pictures
